Our Team

  • Abbe Skinner

    FOUNDER/OWNER

    Abbe was an educator in our public and private school classrooms for 9 years before discovering boxing and launching a fitness career. Abbe is a certified Personal Trainer with the National Federation of Professional Trainers, a USA Boxing Certified Boxing Coach, and CPR/AED/First-Aid certified.

  • Daniel Rodriguez-Mendez

    FOUNDER/OWNER

    Daniel was born and raised in San Francisco and has been active in the boxing gym environment since 2017. Daniel worked his way up from front desk staff, to management, to owner! Daniel is a Certified Boxing Coach with USA Boxing, as well as CPR/AED/First-Aid certified.

    Hank Frost

    TRAINER

    Hank has been a USA Boxing Coach/Trainer since 2005 and a Personal Trainer since 2007. Hank has worked in the world of hard labor of lifting 12 foot sheet rock and the corporate world of working behind a desk. Seeing both worlds, Hank has truly found his passion and world of being a coach and a personal trainer. His drive is “Don’t let good enough be good enough.”

  • Xavier Macay

    TRAINER

    Xavier is a San Francisco native with over 25 years experience in boxing and combat sports. Xavier is a former Pro MMA competitor and amateur Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai athlete. Xavier specializes in teaching Dutch Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and general fitness. You can find him teaching Bootcamp and Saturday classes at Bay Breakers Boxing Gym! @my_martialartslife

  • Isabel Swartz

    YOGA TEACHER

    Isabel has been practicing yoga (or has yoga been practicing her?) for over two decades. Isabel firmly believes that yoga is whatever you make of it - and that the only thing you need to prepare for class is to prepare to be surprised by yourself and by the practice. Whether you're brand new or you've been at it for decades, she invites you to come and expand your mind and body in a fun, safe environment. Let's get weird!

  • Adolfo Velez

    TRAINER

    Originally from Guadalajara, Adolfo Velez started boxing in Mexico at age 18 and continued as an amatuer fighter in the US. Known as “The Bonecrusher,” Adolfo's hard-hitting love for boxing has grown from fighter to trainer and coach. Adolfo is a certified USA Boxing coach.

  • Andres "El Gallo" Hernandez

    TRAINER

    Born and raised in the streets of San Francisco, Gallo brings a raw, real-world approach to boxing as a fighter and coach. Having grown up in a tough environment, Gallo learned the importance of discipline, resilience, and hard work from a young age - qualities that now define his coaching style. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, Gallo focuses on developing not just technical skills, but also mental, emotional, and physical toughness, teaching fighters how to push past their limits and thrive under pressure.

    Andy is a boxing coach and competitor with years of experience training as an amateur fighter. He specializes in coaching boxing fundamentals and has a passion for individualized training so each client can discover their own style and, most importantly, have a blast learning the sweet science.

  • Kat Zhembrovska

    MASSAGE THERAPIST - CAMTC #97245

    Kat combines her knowledge of sports injuries with a compassionate, tailored approach to massage therapy. As a climber, boxer, and multi-sport athlete, Kat understands the physical challenges of staying active. After five reconstructive knee surgeries, she knows how to support the body’s recovery and resilience. Specializing in Structural Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Myofascial Release, Kat customizes each session to help clients recover from injuries, boost performance, or improve mobility.

  • Kwan Breston

    FRONT DESK

    Kwan was born in San Joaquin and raised in San Francisco. With two years of experience in the construction industry, Kwan has developed a strong work ethic and a passion for hands-on projects. Outside of work Kwan is a dedicated boxer, training hard with the goal of turning pro one day. He is always pushing himself to grow, whether on the job or in the ring.
